This was one of the most luxurious places we have sit at that time. Aperfectly designed property where the landscaping, the state of the mansion and the interior were astonishing. Very well maintained with all the comfort you can wish for, including a spa area with sauna and jacuzzi. The back yard had a nice view over the river Dordogne and there are many walking/running paths along the river side. It was a shorter stay in spring time and we had to look after Remy, a very beautiful but very shy cat. 3 days before Kay and Mark came back he finally came as close as 1 meter from us. We had to make sure that Remy stayed inside and that he got his water and food regularly and that was no problem.

We also had to check some workers on the property and offer them coffee now and then, but we had plenty of time to explore the area. We visited Bordeaux, Bergerac, Libourne and of course Saint Emilion, famous for his wines. And there were some super nice cycling routes for Iwan to explore on his road bike.

The contact with Mark and Kay was smooth and clear. We had a video call with Kay and Mark after we found this house and pet sit via www.trustedhousesitters.com During our stay we updated them regularly about the ongoing project at their property and how Remy was doing. No issues arisen during our stay and we enjoyed this shorter sit very much.

We definitely would like to come back again and we can recommend this sit to other sitters.
