We found this sit via www.trustedhousesitters.com and we are very pleased we met Gemma and Julien, 2 open-minded persons with interesting stories. They have 2 dogs, 2 hens and a 3-legged cat. This was the first time we did a housesit for them. The dogs were taken care of by family members and we had to take care of the 2 hens and Mani the 3-legged, incontinent and talking cat. The first morning he brought us a dead rat as a present. If he’s not sleeping, he’s by your side and talking instead of meowing. Food is everything for him…… The 2 hens, provide nice fresh eggs when the weather is not too cold. The house is very nice and easy to maintain, with nice views and a big garden. Villevieille is situated next to Sommieres, which is a vibrant town with a nice weekly market and a river with bars and terraces. Very relaxed atmosphere, the same as Gemma and Julien and their home! No surprise we came back several times.
