We love the city of Granada, and we had the pleasure of looking after Pipo, the three-legged dog, and Mia, an indoor cat who we could also take out for a walk at night if she felt like it.

After a video call with Alicia and Pandellis, we were very happy to confirm this sit. Pipo is incredibly sweet, and Mia is very easy-going. They were both a joy to take care of. And even though Pipo has only three legs, he has so much energy—he ran up and down the stairs to the park two or three times a day, even during the 12-day heatwave we had while looking after him!

Granada is such a beautiful city with a great vibe. We really enjoyed this sit. We could walk down to the city center, and most of the time we took the city bus back up home. The house had everything we needed, and even during the heatwave we managed perfectly fine without air-conditioning. Both we and the pets adapted—it just meant doing everything at a slightly slower pace.

Twice we experienced a starting bushfire very close to the neighborhood, but thanks to the firefighters’ quick response, no major problems occurred.

We would love to come back to help Alicia and Pandellis again—and of course to enjoy the wonderful city of Granada!
