This was our fourth time caring for Speedy and our second time doing so in Spain.

We had looked after Speedy twice before in the Netherlands, but when Bianca and Jurgen moved to Spain, we were happy to follow them. This was our second time taking care of Speedy and their properties in Spain. Their plans changed before our arrival: they stayed in Polop but offered us the opportunity to stay in their rental house, while they took several shorter trips instead of one long one.

Our main responsibility was to look after Speedy during the days and weeks that Bianca and Jurgen were away. Of course, we also cared for their home and kept the house we stayed in clean and tidy.

Very sadly, Speedy passed away during this sit due to his declining physical condition. He was already 16 years old, and it was his time to go. In a way, it was fortunate that we were there, as Jurgen was in the Netherlands for business, and we were able to support Bianca during this difficult moment.

Speedy had a wonderful life, and we were grateful that Bianca and Jurgen trusted us to care for him whenever they were away. We are still in contact with them, even now that they no longer have pets.
