This was the second time we had the pleasure to look after the nice, cozy townhouse from Mark and Katy. We had been here in 2020 and at that time our sit was extended from a couple of weeks to 3,5 months because of the Covid pandemic. So, this time we had more time and flexibility to enjoy the area and we did.

The main goal was to make sure the humidity in the house was not too high. The moisture in the walls would make the place damp and the plaster crack. Luckily, we had very good weather to open windows and doors during the day and we did put dehumidifiers on in the evening and at night. We had to take care of the plants and make sure the place was clean. It was a pleasant and easy sit for us and we definitely will come back if Mark and Katy will ask us again.

They allowed us to have friends over during our stay, which was really nice. Our friends came over from The Netherlands for some nice cycling and to catch some summer sun during spring time! We are ready again to look after Mark and Katy’s place when they to go on another trip.
