We had contact with Melinda and Robby via www.mindmyhouse.com The first contact was smooth and we had a video chat to know each other and the place a little bit better. After the video call this sit was confirmed immediately.

This was our first time in the Czech Republic and we really liked it. We had a big house to look after with a nice lawn and a garden with many plants from which many are roses. The whole village knew the place, because of the roses. Mowing the lawn and taking care of the garden was 1 duty. The other was taking care of the pets.

We had Tijger, the indoor cat, who was always lying at your keyboard during working hours and we had Flip “the sweetest dog of the world” as Melinda always said and it may be truth. Tijger needs his cuddles, attention, water and food and a clean litter box. Flip needed fresh water, food, treats, and a lot of attention and of course daily walks twice. Flip could be outside in the garden, without fence, but he could always be off leash. He didn’t run away and stayed always on the property………….. AMAZING! We walked twice a day with him and that was possible from home. Very easy and a good exercise for us in between our work.

Furthermore, we had a lot of time to explore the area. We went to Prague and Liberec, but also to smaller villages and of course to the Jested, a mountain till 1.000 meters above sea level and to some parks for hiking trails. We visited Poland and we went to Germany as we where close to the point where the 3 countries came together. We had a lot of fun with Flip and the stay was very easy for us, also because the communication with Melinda and Robby went very well.

A nice sit and we hope to come back again to look after Flip and Tijger again!
