We absolutely loved this sit which we found on www.mindmyhouse.com We had a video call with Leonie and Andre before they asked us to take care of their place and we are glad we accepted this opportunity.
We had to take care of Molino Nuevo, their former B&B (not active at that time) and the 2 lovely guard dogs, Nero and Sammy. Nero is already 12 years old, but still very protective on the property against strangers and other animals. Sammy is 5 years young and full of energy. We ran a lot with him and we had so much fun with both of them. He’s good with people, but not with other animals. We always had to walk them on the leash to avoid clashes with other dogs. The Molino Nuevo is situated in the middle of the campo, but close by different small villages and only 25 km from Valencia. We had a super nice summer sit with beautiful weather all months long. We also enjoyed the company from Ronald. He lives on the same property but opposite our living area. We both had our complete privacy, but we went out together many times, just to walk with the dogs, have drink or eat something in the area. But we also had some nice beers at the end of the day in the evening sun and of course during all kind of sport events (F1, cycling races, etc.) Super nice and relax ambience and we were happy to get to know Ronald. At the end of this sit we welcomed Marleen and Jandaan, the new sitters and we explained them what would be expected from them. This was also a nice 2 days in which we exchanged some house and pet sitting tips/advise.
