This was another extraordinary housesit. NO pets, but we had to deal with 7 weeks full lockdown due to Covid-19. We found this opportunity via www.housecarers.comThe townhouse from Katie and Mark is small but well equipped and has everything you need, including an office space and a beautiful roof terrace. This house is in better condition than similar houses in this range and we really had a good time, despite the 7-week full lockdown. Their house is located 500 meters from the old center of Oliva and close to several bars/restaurants, including the famous Bar Amigos. The beach is appr. 2,5 km away and there are so many beautiful cycling routes. Iwan did cycle a lot and Katie and Mark allowed us to have a friend over for a cycling weekend. The surrounding villages and the beaches are beautiful and their neighbors are very friendly.

The communication with Katie and Mark during this strange Covid-19 time was excellent and relaxed! We informed each other about possible change of plans and we mutually agreed on the final end date which was more than 3 months longer than the first planned end date. Communication is key in these situations!
